In a post last night on his X account, the Venezuelan diplomat pointed out that the “General Hitman of the dying” Organization of American States (OAS), does not defend freedom of expression, but freedom of conspiracy.
“What else could be expected?”, he asked, if this guy insistently requested the military invasion; requested and celebrated the U.S. criminal sanctions against the Venezuelan people; and defended and glorified every coup plotter that arises.
Arreaza added that Almagro ended isolated after supporting the illegality and theft of Venezuela’s assets with the operation of the so-called interim president (Juan) Guaidó, supporting mercenaries, paramilitaries, and murderers, pretending to isolate the Bolivarian Republic.
The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) stated, “what else could be expected from such an outstanding, reiterated, and persistent failure?”
In a message on his X account, Almagro condemned what he called “harassment and persecution” of U.S.-based journalist Orlando Avendaño by the Venezuelan Public Prosecutor’s Office.
