The minister said that in addition to a rigid monetary policy and selective granting of credit, they’ll devote priority attention to the economy, controlling public spending to deplete inflation to single digits, which is the main target.

Simsek noted that thanks to the structural reforms to be implemented by the Government by the Medium-Term Economic Program flowchart, the Cabinet plans to undergo transformations in the economy and raise labor productivity and competitiveness.
