In an article published in the Página 12 newspaper, Borón warned about the serious consequences for Argentina and its foreign policy regarding Milei’s offenses towards Presidents Gustavo Petro and Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Among the results of the head of state’s statements, he mentioned the extreme tension in relations with Venezuela and fractured ties with Colombia.
Milei seems to be unaware that words and gestures falls and have long-lasting effects. Offenses and grievances such as the ones he is giving to his own and others have a negative impact on Argentina´s present and future, Borón stated.
He also pointed out that Milei´s behavior also responds to his strong links with a “strategy meticulously planned by large monopolies and investment funds that sustain the globalized financial capitalist system in his dispute with China”.
Those, alongside U.S. government officials, reaped an unusual achievement in international relations: in less than 100 days they turned Milei into their favorite lackey, because of his obedience and his willingness to do whatever his principals request, Borón stressed.
“Argentina is considered a new and huge neocolonial enclave. The CIA Director William Burns and the head of the Southern Command Gen. Laura Richardson are highest authorities of our languishing democracy, co-governing with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and finance capital,” he added.
The prophet of anarcho-capitalism is the executing arm of the mass murder provoked by his adjustment policies, he added.
The political scientist also questioned Milei’s decision not to make Argentina’s entry to BRICS a reality and to support Israel’s aggression over Palestine.
Journalist Luis Bruschtein, on the other hand, stated that Milei is determined to isolate Argentina. When the whole world, including European governments, is asking the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop the horrendous genocide he is committing in Gaza, Milei is the only one who justifies the cruelest mass slaughter of the civilian population of this millennium, he said.
