A high-level PP delegation led by Arega arrived in Beijing to reinforce relations between the political groupings. In statements to the Ethiopia News Agency, the official revealed that they will discuss ways to strengthen ties with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Arega said the CCP will share experiences with the Ethiopian group, among others, on the measures taken to ensure the prosperity of China, the long road it has traveled to reach development without compromising its multicultural identity, and the positive results of its policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.

Ethiopia and China have a long-standing diplomatic relationship and the PP is making every effort to build up this partnership to a new level of cooperation and mutual benefit, he added.

The authority noted that the visit demonstrates that the previously agreed capacity-building initiatives and experience-sharing programs are properly pursued.
