In a message broadcast in Arabic by the Voice of Lebanon radio station, the diplomat stressed that the Washington administration is using all possible means, including propaganda and incitement of the media, to provoke destabilization and chaos.

Addressing the public in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and part of Iraq, the ambassador pointed out that the White House Government is stimulating from its territory some renowned Cuban terrorists, mainly based in Miami, to encourage actions against the internal order in Cuba.

On this occasion, León rejected the dissemination of messages of hatred and subversive content on social media and anti-Cuban websites by personalities in the United States and other nations globally to distort and manipulate reality.

He also called for ending the US blockade against Cuba, which has been rejected at the United Nations General Assembly by most of the international community every year.

León also rejected Cuba’s inclusion in Washington’s list of State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT).
