In a letter sent by Ortega and Murillo to the Venezuelan head of state, they greeted him as “our brother and comrade”. They also saluted the first combatant and deputy to the National Assembly Cilia Flores, the United Socialist Party, and the brave, courageous, and noble Bolivarian people.
They denounced that at this moment “the infamous pack” of the United States and the colonial and neo-colonial empires “once more are attacking the sovereign will of the people of Simon Bolivar”.
Both leaders of the Nicaraguan Government of Reconciliation and National Unity ratified their “unconditional love”, permanent brotherhood, union, and “constant, determined and unwavering journey, as a Sacred Procession demanding the inalienable rights of our peoples”.
