The head of State explained on his X account that the donation helps alleviate the difficult situation in Cuba as a result of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States.
On Monday, Cuban Ambassador in that country, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez; the foreign minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Keysal Peters; and the general director of the Eastern Caribbean Group of Companies, Robert Cato, bade farewell to the ship that is transporting 235 metric tons of flour, which is expected to arrive in the port of Mariel in the coming days.
Both Caribbean nations have strengthened diplomatic and bilateral ties for more than 30 years.
