“During the removal of the debris inside the theater, the number of deaths in the attack has increased to 133 people. Search operations continue,” the agency said.
Previously, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Boroviov, told the press present at Crocus City Hall that he had just been with emergency teams removing the rubble, and unfortunately, the death toll will increase by the amount of people who were trapped in the premises.
Likewise, medical services said that among those injured during the attack and who are in hospital facilities, 44 are in an extremely serious situation, including a minor.
On Friday, a group of armed men, dressed in camouflage clothing, unleashed a shootout at the Crocus City concert hall, located in the city of Krasnogorsk, Moscow province, just a few minutes before the start of a concert by the Russian rock band Picnic.
