During the meeting, the HWP leader reiterated his party’s solidarity with Cuba and its support for the sovereignty and independence of that nation.
The party leader also condemned the US blockade policy against Cuba and reiterated his political organization’s stance to remove that small country from Washington’s State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT) list.
Gyula expressed that his party will always stand with the Cuban people and the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC).
He pointed out that Cuba counts on all countries that defend socialism against the hegemony of the United States and its allies.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on national events in Cuba and the international situation, the same sources stated.
