The coordinated action reported 18 Salvadorans, 15 Ecuadorians, five Hondurans and one Nicaraguan, as well as eight minors, who were traveling accompanied by at least one of their parents.
According to the report, during their stay in the country, the migrants were provided with comprehensive assistance, including psychological and medical care, and food as well.
The IGM moved the people to the posts of Agua Caliente, on the border with Honduras, and Nueva Anguiatú, with El Salvador, where they would proceed with their departure.
Migration authorities reiterated their commitment to enforcing their laws to keep order and security at the borders.
