The farmers organized protests at the accesses to cities and other populated centers and even on high-speed highways, and more than 70,000 of them participated in these events, according to the applications submitted in order to receive authorization for such actions.

The police tried to organize for the transport the possibility to go around the blocked stretches, according to the information disseminated here.

Since early February, Polish farmers have been protesting against the entry of agricultural products from Ukraine, and demanding to renounce the European Union’s ecological plans, including the so-called Green Pact, which sets the goal of achieving zero emissions into the atmosphere by 2050.
