“The main cause of the problems this brother country is going through has its origin in the cruel and genocidal economic, commercial, and financial blockade the United States illegally and illegitimately imposes,” the former president wrote on the same social platform.

Morales concluded his message by saying, “Our respect and support for the Cuban Revolution, a fundamental pillar of the Latin America and Caribbean dignity.”

The René Zavaleta Mercado Bolivian Study Circle condemned in a TikTok message on Tuesday Washington’s interference in the Cuban Revolution and defended the peoples’ self-determination.

The message includes images of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and international media with texts and photos confirming diverse crimes committed by Washington against Cuba since 1959.

On Monday, the Bolivian Chapter of the Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity condemned the US interference in Cuba’s internal affairs in a statement sent to Prensa Latina.

In the words of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, “Several people have expressed their dissatisfaction over power shortages and food distribution. Enemies of the Cuban Revolution are trying to use such circumstances with destabilizing purposes,” the text adds.

The statement recalls that Cuba, for more than six decades, has been fighting daily for the construction of a socialist society at the cost of facing an economic blockade, attacks, and countless boycotts.
