According to the latest report of the National Emergency System (Sinae) 1,648 people remain displaced from their homes in the departments of San José, Colonia, Florida, Paysandú, Canelones, Soriano and Río Negro.
In San José the water level of the river of the same name dropped, although it remains above the safe level.
The departmental capital of the same name and Ciudad del Plata were the most affected by the storms.
Colonia, to the west of Montevideo, is in a clear recovery phase and the Colla stream returned to its course, as well as the water service, which was reestablished for most of the population.
From the department of Florida, the Sinae report indicates that there were customers without power supply, although the figure decreased.
In Paysandú they are preparing the return of the displaced people after the descent of the Sacra stream, which will initiate the cleaning of flooded houses.
In Soriano, on the west coast, an estimated 200 trees are down and electricity is out in dozens of homes.
Meanwhile, the National Highway Police Directorate shared the list of national routes and roads that are still closed due to the floods.
