The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs stressed in a statement that the pace of aggression against citizens, their land, property and places of religious worship is on the rise.
In open defiance of international sanctions, the settlers “are intensifying their crimes to explode the situation in the West Bank,” it warned.
In the face of this situation, the Ministry called on the world to name the settler organizations and their supporters as terrorists, including Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
The portfolio accused the Army of supporting these extremists as part of a coordinated campaign.
At present, more than 700,000 Israeli settlers live in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, despite several UN Security Council resolutions and world claims, which consider these territories as part of the future Palestinian state.
Recently, the Israeli NGO Ir Amin accused Benjamin Netanyahu’s government of using the war against the Gaza Strip to push forward the colonization of the occupied East Jerusalem area.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs made a similar statement.
