The Jose Marti Memorial in Havana was the stage where the 2024 Jose Marti National Journalism Award was granted to renowned reporter Arleen Rodriguez, as well as the Juan Gualberto Gomez Annual National Journalism Awards in the categories of written press, photojournalism and graphic journalism, hypermedia journalism, radio and television.

On March 14, Cuba’s Press Day is celebrated, with the motivation of the 132nd anniversary of the Patria newspaper, founded by National Hero Jose Marti, and immersed in the communication counteroffensive of the Revolution.
