Syrian officials told Prensa Latina that reconnaissance squads detected preparations by terrorists of the self-styled Islamic Party of Turkestan and the radical group Junta for the Liberation of the Levant to launch an attack against military positions in the northeast of the coastal province of Latakia.
They added that the attack was foiled and the Syrian troops’ fire killed at least five Chinese Uyghur terrorists, while others were wounded.
A Kamikaze drone also hit a double-cabin pickup truck, resulting in its destruction and the death of the four terrorists from the group called Ansar Al-Tawhid, who were traveling in it.
In western Aleppo province in the north of the country, a unit of the national army detected a concentration of terrorists and targeted it with a guided missile, leaving its members either dead or wounded.
While in the vast desert region of Al-Badieh, joint army units and allied militias clashed fiercely with terrorists of the Islamic State group, Daesh in Arabic, in the western desert of Deir Ezzor province.
