The event will be held in hybrid modality (face-to-face and virtual) from November 26 to 28 this year in Havana.
According to Alexander Manso, director of Technical and Professional Education of the Ministry of Education (CUBAMINED), the conclave aims at socializing experiences on pedagogical and didactic strategies that contribute to the development of inclusive quality professional training with a gender approach.
Manso, quoted by CUBAMINED, said that in the context of the international meeting, four symposiums or workshops will be held, which will address topics such as Comprehensive Quality Vocational Training as an axis for social economic development.
Participants will also analyze the improvement of teachers for Technical and Professional Education, the realities and challenges in professional training and the transition to a sustainable economy, as well as the use of 21st century technologies in the preparation of young people.
Under the slogan “train and employ”, the workshop proposes four pre-event courses that will also be held in the hybrid modality and will be linked to the area of training of the qualified middle-level workforce and will be taught by Cuban and foreign specialists.
It is foreseen to have a Cuban delegation of approximately 200 teachers. The number of foreigners will be open in correspondence with the requests received.
