We want to boost collaboration in the industrial sector, especially in the field of production lines and machines, in addition to the training of human staff in the field of technology, the Minister said when he received the ambassador of China in Damascus, Shi Hongwei.

The senior official explained to the diplomat the reality of the industrial sector, both public and private, after thirteen years of war and blockade, and urged to intensify communication and meetings between the two sides to identify possible opportunities for cooperation and partnership.

On the occasion, the Chinese ambassador forwarded his country’s interest in improving industrial cooperation and partnership with this nation in various sectors, especially in the reconstruction phase.

Speaking to the press after the meeting, the Syrian minister expressed that China has made rapid progress in the technological field, especially in the manufacture of electronic chips, semiconductors and advanced electronic equipment.
