The institution’s report also stated that 71 percent of the electorate would participate in next weekend’s elections, the TASS news agency reported this Tuesday.
According to the calculations of sociologists, the votes among the other candidates were distributed as follows: six percent for Nikolai Kharitonov, of the Communist Party; another six percent for Vladislav Davankov, leader of the New People party; and five percent for Leonid Slutski, liberal democrat.
The Russian Public Opinion Research Center based its report on a survey carried out between March 4th and 6th, in which 1,500 people from different sectors of society participated.
