KCNA reported about a courtesy visit made by Deputy Foreign Minister Pak Myong-ho to the Mongolian president.
Also present at the meeting were Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Bapmunkh Battsetseg, National Security Council Secretary Enkhbayar Jadamba, Ambassador to DPRK L. Erdenedavaa, and DPRK Ambassador to Mongolia Oh Seung-ho.
Pak Myong-ho met earlier with Battsetseg and Deputy Foreign Minister Amartuvshin Gombosuren.
The news agency reported that the two sides reviewed bilateral relations at each meeting, and expressed their determination to elevate them to a higher level and coordinate actions and stances at international forums.
The visit marks the first time a DPRK delegation has been in Mongolia since 2019, as face-to-face diplomatic events were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
