Dozens of terrorists killed in Syrian army’s bombings

Damascus, Mar 12 (Prensa Latina) The radical groups headed by the self-styled Organization for the Liberation of the Levant, lost more than 70 fighters in failed attacks against the Syrian military in the northwest of the country, it was reported on Tuesday.

At least 20 of the casualties among the radicals’ ranks are foreigners such as Chechens, Uighurs, Albanians and Uzbeks, who were gunned down in the south of the northern province of Idlib, west of Aleppo and north of the coastal governorate of Latakia, the sources noted.

On the other hand, at least 15 extremists from the Huras Elddin terrorist organization were killed in recent airstrikes that resulted in the destruction of a drone assembly workshop west of tje city of Idlib.

Funerals were held for three uniformed men, including a captain, who fell during the failed offensives by the radicals.

The Ministry of Defense had announced the downing of three drones and the capture of a terrorist, in the same governorate of Idlib.

The Syrian Armed Forces, with the support of its allies from Russia and Iran, has liberated more than 80 percent of the national territory from the terrorists, while some strongholds remain in al-Badieh and Idlib.
