“(Israeli Prime Minister) Benjamin Netanyahu is committing genocide by destroying Gaza and killing more than 31,000 Palestinians in cold blood, including more than 12,000 children and eight thousand women,” the minister said in a statement published on X, in the account of the Syrian Foreign Ministry.

Al-Mekdad called Netanyahu a true murderer who violates the norms of International Law, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Charter of the United Nations and all laws related to the rights of children, women, democracy, disarmament and peace.

According to the politician, what is most dangerous about Netanyahu’s crimes is the support he receives from many of the leaders of the EU countries and their parliaments, and the unlimited and blind support from Washington.

“The world already knows that the positions of the leaders of the European Union, whether before or now, are antics, hypocrisy and lies,” the official said.

Al-Mekdad added that the EU’s defense of Netanyahu’s crimes proves that the bloc is a small puppet in the hands of Zionism and the United States.
