Hezbollah issued a statement reporting having launched dozens of Katyusha rockets against the military facility, responsible for organizing, coordinating and managing air strikes against Syria, Lebanon, Türkiye, Cyprus and the northern part of the Eastern Mediterranean basin.
According to the movement, the attack is part of the operations in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in retaliation for the Israeli bombings against villages and civilians in southern Lebanon.
This was the sixth attack launched by the Resistance against the only Israeli base in the north, which is tasked with air surveillance and control, since the opening of the Lebanese front on October 8th.
Israeli media outlets recognized that alarms were triggered in several settlements in Upper Galilee after the launch of around 50 missiles toward Meron.
The Resistance reported having attacked successfully Israeli artillery positions in Arar using drones and having launched rockets at a gathering of Israeli soldiers east of the Birket Risha site.

Resistencia libanesa bombardea base aérea israelí Meron
Beirut, 10 mar (Prensa Latina) La Resistencia Islámica de Líbano (Hizbulah) bombardeó la Base de Observación Aérea Meron, en respuesta a la agresión israelí a una casa en Khirbet Selm que provocó la muerte de cuatro personas.
En una declaración, Hizbulah anunció el lanzamiento de decenas de cohetes Katyusha contra la instalación militar, responsable de organizar, coordinar y gestionar todos los ataques aéreos contra Siria, Líbano, Türkiye, Chipre y la parte norte de la cuenca del Mediterráneo Oriental.
Según el movimiento, el ataque forma parte de las operaciones de apoyo al pueblo palestino en la Franja de Gaza y en represalia a los bombardeos israelíes contra las aldeas y civiles del sur del Líbano.
Este fue el sexto ataque de la Resistencia contra la base de administración, vigilancia y control aéreo israelí en el norte desde la apertura del frente libanés el 8 de octubre.
