Six citizens were killed in an artillery bombing that targeted several houses in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, north of Gaza City, early on Saturday.
Nine people, including children, were killed in a similar incident in the nearby Jabalia refugee camp, Wafa reported.
The news agency informed that three children died of malnutrition and starvation in the Al-Shifa medical complex in the last few hours. The number of deaths due to the shortage of food in the coastal enclave rose to 23.
Wafa noted that five Palestinians were also killed in Israel’s artillery attacks on the city of Deir al-Balah and the nearby Nuseirat refugee camp.
According to official statistics, some 30,800 Palestinians have been killed and 72,298 have been injured since the beginning of Israel’s aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
