Hizbullah attacks Israeli forces in occupied Lebanese hills

Beirut, March 8 (Prensa Latina) The Lebanese Resistance (Hizbullah) today attacked positions of the Israeli army in the occupied hills of Kfar Shuba, in reaffirmation of its operations in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza.

In a statement, the Lebanese political and military movement announced the action with heavy rockets against a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their vehicles east of the Al-Samaqa site.

Later, Hizbullah confirmed the blow to the Ruwaisat Al-Alam military site in the aforementioned hills, in the eastern sector of the southern border.

On the same date, the Resistance reported the launch of a Falaq 1 missile towards a concentration of enemy soldiers in the vicinity of the Jal Al-Allam site.

Earlier, its fighters carried out an operation against a deployment of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Al-Raheb position, on the western side of the border.

In response to Tel Aviv’s attacks on southern villages and civilians, Hizbullah targeted enemy artillery bunkers in Dishon, located in the Upper Galilee region, with Katyusha rockets.

Israeli media revealed that the heads of local authorities in the north are losing patience with the economic impact and the displacement of some 100,000 settlers from their homes.

The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper stated that Israelis evacuated from the north are still far from their settlements and have been waiting for a response from decision-makers for five months.

For its part, Tel Aviv aviation bombed the outskirts of the towns of Aitaroun, Houla, Mays al-Jabal, Kunine, Ramieh and the Labouneh area, south of Naqoura, in the western sector.
