The U.S. tries to put nations that do not surrender to it in the dock, accusing them of ‘destroyers of peace’ and ‘violators of human rights’.
But, a tragicomedy occurred, and now this ‘judge’ sat in the ‘dock’, Ri points out in his article.
The commentator recalled that Washington recently exercised its veto on the draft Security Council resolution on immediate armistice in the Gaza Strip, according to the resolution passed in April 2022.
The United States advocated its veto exercise by saying that the draft resolution submitted by Algeria will not extend to sustainable peace but will prevent the release of hostages and negotiations on the temporary armistice; however, its explanations brought censure and derision from the international society, Ri noted.
The article states that, in the face of such a horrible humanitarian tragedy, international society is very dismayed and even allied countries turn their backs on Washington, Israel’s defender.
It is only natural that the empire of evil, which only pursues selfish goals without taking into consideration the fate of humanity, and sacrifices international peace and security to achieve its geopolitical goal, should be subjected to the judgment of international society.
The United States should listen to the voices of international society and no longer act as a ‘judge’, the text concludes.
