Sometimes known as Mahanayim airport due to its proximity to the town of the same name, the targeted facility is located in Rosh Pinna, near the Safed Industrial Park.

In January, the secretary general of the Sayyed Al-Shuhadaa Brigades in Iraq, Abu Alaa al-Walai, specified that the new phase of the Resistance operations will include blocking Israeli shipping in the Mediterranean and attacking the entity’s ports to put them out of service.
