In talks held at the Amiri Diwan Palace in Doha, both statesmen reaffirmed their intention to continue to work on the development of cooperation in different fields.
After the meeting, the working session was extended to their respective delegations, which reviewed the memorandums of understanding signed between Qatar and the DRC two years ago, the Congolese Presidency wrote on its X account.
It added that among the issues discussed, were a high priority.
President Tshisekedi arrived in Doha on Monday for a two-day working visit to strengthen bilateral relations with Qatar.
During the first day, he visited the Embassy of the DRC, where he met with the staff of the diplomatic representation and members of the Congolese community in this Arab nation.
The head of State also met with a delegation of ambassadors from the countries that make up the Southern African Development Community, who expressed their support for the defense of the sovereignty of the DRC.
