On the same social network, the president of the National People’s Power Assembly (parliament), Esteban Lazo, ratified that the revolutionary’s legacy endures in the brotherhood between the Cuban and Venezuelan peoples, in the Bolivarian and integrationist ideal in the Patria Grande, and in the just causes of humanity.
The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez, said in that digital platform that the example of the Venezuelan leader will guide the struggle and resistance (of Cuba and Venezuela) against the attempts of US imperialism to destroy the Bolivarian Revolution and undermine the unity of our America.
The former President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (1999-2013), Hugo Chávez (1954-2013) professed broad sympathy and affinity with the Cuban revolutionary process and its leadership, especially with Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, whom he considered as a father.
