The conclave’s statement blames Tel Aviv for disrespecting the norms of international humanitarian law in Gaza, where more than 30,000 people have died since last October after the start of the massive aggression against the enclave, blocked by air, sea and land for more than two decades.
It also rejects “any justification and pretexts for the continuity of Israeli aggression against Gaza, and we call on the international community to take the necessary measures to respond to the practices of the Israeli Government.”
In their most severe statement on the conflict, the members of the regional entity, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, ask “the international community to take the necessary measures to respond to the practices of the Israeli Government.”
