In January and February 2024, Vietnam’s exports of goods and products exceeded 59.34 billion dollars, while imports totaled 51.47 billion dollars.
According to industry sources, 11 items reported an export turnover of over one billion dollars, accounting for 75.1 percent of the total.
The United States was Vietnam’s largest export market during that period, with an estimated turnover of 17.4 billion dollars, followed by China with 8.1 billion dollars, and Japan with 4.0 billion dollars.
The bulk of Vietnam’s imports came from China at 20.9 billion dollars.
