A few days ago, a UN Tourism delegation headed by Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili visited Jamaica, where joint initiatives were launched to promote the smokeless industry in an ethical, inclusive, and sustainable manner, as well as priorities such as training and investment.
On the occasion of World Tourism Resilience Day in Montego Bay, Pololikashvili, together with the Jamaican Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett and representatives of the public and private sectors, participated in a special conference on the subject.
Among the initiatives proposed, investments were outlined as part of the collaboration with the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF), with guides to its collection on tourism and business.
