According to the statement, Pandor is scheduled, on Saturday, March 2nd, to participate as a panelist on the topic “Understanding the Global South”.
The Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that the minister will take the opportunity of her visit to Antalya to hold a bilateral meeting with her Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan.
The Forum, which will run until March 3, is attended by Heads of State and Government, Foreign Ministers, high-level officials, diplomats, non-governmental organizations, media, and the business community from around the world.
This year’s event is being held under the overarching theme: “Advancing Diplomacy in Times of Turbulence.”
Other topics to be discussed during the forum include “Building Blocks for Permanent Peace in the Middle East,” and “Harnessing Africa’s Potential.”
A meeting of the Gaza Contact Group is also planned, aimed at analyzing the current situation in the Strip, under constant attack by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) since last October.
