The protest was confirmed by the Argentinian Association of Entrepreneurs from Automotive Transportation, which represents over 40 companies.

According to the UTA, the strike will take place after two months of hearings at the Labor Secretariat without a proposal for salary raises.

On Thursday, members of the Construction Workers Union (UOCRA) in this capital city gathered in front of the Secretariat to denounce thousands of layoffs due to the suspension of public works by the Government of Javier Milei.

In particular, they questioned the recent suspension of contracts in the DYCASA Company, dedicated to the execution and concession of road, port, architectural, commercial and industrial, hydraulic, nuclear power plants and hospital, educational, cultural and sports complexes, among others.
