In a meeting to analyze the results of the tourism sector in 2023 on Wednesday, Díaz-Canel urged the sector’s workers to be more creative and innovative.
The head of State urged to defend sustainable development practices, as there are travelers who choose destinations related to environmental protection, the Cuban News Agency informed.
He also suggested implementing the circular economy in the sector and presenting proposals to promote Cuba in a way that is more in line with the times and the digital world.
The president called to highlight the characteristics that make Cuba a unique destination, take advantage of science and innovation, and “use creativity to reverse the real situation Cuba is undergoing.”
