The CSE’s Chair Brenda Rocha explained to the press that they strictly ensured that, in those electoral suitcases sent to the two regions of the Caribbean coast, they go according to the established materials.

“Five days away from our voting process, in these Landslide Caribbean 2024 Elections, we are and continue to comply with an activity more attached to the Political Constitution and the laws, with the certainty of continuing to successfully develop all the activities,”she highlighted.

The magistrate argued that the political parties and alliances, through the digital platform, registered 7,510 women and men who will function as electoral prosecutors.

The authority added that in coordination with the Interior Ministry, the registration of the electoral police officers who will be in charge of the 308 polling stations and in the 751 voting boards, all in compliance with the gender equity and alternation ordered by the electoral law, she said.

Rocha called on the coastal population to exercise their right to vote to elect the citizens who will represent them in the regional governments during the next five years.
