The Minister, who visited the Center group of Russian forces in the zone of the special military operation in Ukraine, highlighted the role of drones and added there are plans to supply the troops with drones controlled by AI technology, which will improve the efficiency of their use, says the statement from the Ministry of Defense.

Shoigu, who also heard reports from the commander of the group, Colonel General Andrei Mordvichiov, and other headquarters officers regarding the situation on the front, stressed that unmanned aerial vehicles are becoming “a rather serious weapon.”
