Putin congratulated the personnel of the Armed Forces on the occasion of the Day of the Homeland Defenders, and recalled that the delivery of the most demanded weapons increased, especially regarding high-precision weapon systems and drones, tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, air defense and reconnaissance systems.
The next steps in this process would be the development and mass production of more promising models and the incorporation of artificial intelligence technologies in the military field, the president added.
Putin also stressed the importance of the high readiness of the Armed Forces: “There are many alarming challenges and risks in the contemporary world, and therefore the powerful potential, the high readiness of our Army and Navy is a guarantee of the security of Russia,” he emphasized.
According to Putin, the modernization of the Armed Forces will continue. “Taking into account the real experience gained in combat, we will continue to strengthen the Armed Forces in every possible way, ensuring their constant technical re-equipment and modernization,” the Russian head of state promised.
