The director of the sports event where digital and physical disciplines are mixed to give life to the phygital modality, Igor Stolyarov, highlighted that the function of this medium has been key to being able to make it known on the American continent and other corners of the world.
“It’s great that Prensa Latina is here, and we can communicate through you daily to provide content from our Games. We really appreciate you coming,” he emphasized.
For her part, the Communications Director of the sports event, Kristina Kolesnikova, also expressed her gratitude to the international media that provide information coverage, and made special mention of the agency with headquarters in Havana.
Having a Cuban media in our competition is an honor, we are satisfied that we are of interest to you, and that at the same time you collaborate with us in disseminating the achievements and advances that the phygital modality can have for the world from the contest, argued the board.
The day before, Russian federal authorities and the city of Kazan, venue of the event, as well as directors of the gas giant Gazprom, the main sponsor, and the Ministry of Sports, praised the broad impact of the event thanks to the work of foreign journalists.
Likewise, in several of the interventions, the leaders of the Eurasian nation commented on the importance of the social function of these media outlets from friendly countries (China, Tanzania, Ghana, Syria, Serbia and Cuba, through Prensa Latina) in conveying to the world the achievements of the multi-sports event, a pioneer at an international level.
Journalistic coverage of the Future Games is guaranteed by the main media outlets in Russia and the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as by bloggers, digital opinion leaders, and around twenty international media outlets.
The broadcasts of the contest are completely open on different platforms, providing a total of four thousand hours, facilitating the access of millions of users to the competitions that will last until March 3.
