From the Saratoga, Caballeriza and Esmeralda hotels, in the beautiful city of Holguin, hope to create ‘a high-standard boutique complex’, businessman Yander Rodriguez confirmed to the Cuban News Agency.
The general director of Hoteles E Holguin Saratoga, Esmeralda and Caballeriza assured that the goal is to provide a better experience to guests through the quality of the service, the offers and the ambience of the facilities, where guests ‘will feel treated as if they were family’.
Also in Holguin province, a part of the Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca hotel will be added to the Mystic brand, specifically the first building erected in that beach resort next to the bungalows of the complex, Rodriguez announced.
The Canadian chain Blue Diamond, said the specialist, groups in its consortium the tour operator Sunwing and Wesjet as its own airline, in addition to its travel agencies, so it will guarantee the flow of visitors throughout the year, something positive in economic terms and from the point of view of cultural exchange.
As he explained, for Cubanacán it is the first experience working in Holguin with the Canadian firm, but Blue Diamond has been managing other facilities in the province since the beginning, including the Grand Memories Holguín Hotel and the Sanctuary at Grand Memories Holguín section, both in the Ramón de Antilla peninsula and belonging to the Gaviota group.
Tourism development on Cuba’s northeastern coast contemplates the opening by 2024 of a hotel on Yuraguanal beach, with some 600 rooms, and another on the Ramon de Antilla peninsula, where there is construction potential to consolidate Holguín as one of the most important destinations in the area, the source said.
Blue Diamond is also present in Havana and Jibacoa, while it manages facilities in the main beaches of the Cuban archipelago, including those in Varadero, Cayo Largo del Sur, Cayo Santa Maria and Cayo Guillermo.
