In terms of strategic partnerships, the countries benefitting from the ferry system would ensure the availability of buyers of raw materials and additional products generated through the service, Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Works and Transport Rohan Sinanan told the meeting.
That project will facilitate the movement of both containers and passengers and seeks to demonstrate the viability of investing in this type of infrastructure with a view to integration, improving trade and strengthening food security within the Caribbean.
