The Palestinian Presidency expressed in a statement its surprise at the White House’s continued refusal “to stop the war of extermination waged by the Israeli occupants against our people.”

Washington’s position, which defies the will of the international community, will give additional green light to Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to continue its war campaign in Gaza, it assured.

“We hold the United States responsible for the continued Israeli aggression against Palestinian children, women, and the elderly, in that territory, as a result of its policy of supporting barbaric attacks,” the Presidency stressed.

The statement criticized the actions taken by Joe Biden’s administration because they protect Netanyahu and his allies in power.

This policy makes the United States “a partner in the crime of genocide, ethnic cleansing and war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank,” the Presidency said.
