The vehicle was received last Sunday by Pak Jong Chon, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), and Kim Yo Jong, deputy head of the Communication and Propaganda Department of the WPK, the news agency informed.

Kim Yo Jong expressed her gratitude for the gift and said that it was a clear demonstration of the special friendly relations between the leaders of the two countries.

Kim visited the Russian Federation in September 2023 and held official and private talks with Putin in an atmosphere that, according to political circles and the two countries’ media, showed the good chemistry between the two leaders.

During a recent visit to Russia, DPRK Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui conveyed to Putin an invitation from Kim to visit the DPRK.

KCNA noted at the time that the Russian president expressed his “deep appreciation” for the invitation and assured that he would honor it “at an auspicious time” in the near future.
