The spokeswoman highlighted some of the statements made in Munich by Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who represented China.
Mao highlighted China’s commitment to work with the United States to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two nations last November, as well as the willingness to deepen relations with Russia and partnership with the European Union.
“Wang Yi emphasized the need to address hot-button issues constructively, promoted non-interference in internal affairs and advocated a political solution to conflicts,” the spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman also emphasized the importance of strengthening global governance, strongly supporting the role of the United Nations and promoting solidarity and cooperation in the Global South.
