AU condemned the United States blockade against Cuba once again

Addis Ababa, February 19 (Prensa Latina) The African Union (AU) condemned for the fifteenth time the blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba on the last day of the 37th Summit of the bloc.

On this occasion, the AU requested the elimination of Cuba from the list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism.

The approval of the “Resolution on the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the Republic of Cuba by the United States of America” once again ratified the solidarity of the African continent with Cuba and its support for the demand it presents every year at the United Nations.

The 37th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the AU concluded early this Monday after meeting for two days under the theme “Educating for the 21st century: Building resilient educational systems to increase access to inclusive, quality and relevant learning in Africa”.
