Several specialists controlled the process from the command center at the Baikanur Cosmodrome, a statement from the Russian Space Agency (Roscosmos) said.
Progress MS-26 delivered 2,518 kilograms (kg) of cargo to the ISS, including 580 kg of refueling fuel, 420 liters of drinking water and 40 kg of compressed nitrogen in cylinders.
In the cargo compartment of the spacecraft are 1,478 kg of various equipment and materials, food for the crew, clothing items and materials for scientific experiments.
In particular, the station received the Perspektiva-KM experiment stowage, which is a structure made of polymeric materials with shape memory effect.
The cosmonauts will install it in the small research module Poisk as part of one of the upcoming spacewalks.
In addition, the spacecraft delivered the Fulleren experiments (cultivation of fullerite crystals in an electrovacuum furnace) and the Orbit-MG experiment (test technologies for monitoring the technical condition of hermetic envelopes of spacecraft and space stations).
The Russian cosmonauts’ psychological support service reported that the cargo ship brought to the station chocolates of exclusively natural composition made at the Russian Krasny Oktyabr factory.
The Progress also carried to the station a gift for cosmonaut Nikolai Chub sent by his family.
