Through his X account, the head of state pointed out that on February 16, 1989 “we sowed eternity” with this artist and “today our streets are dressed with flowers in a beautiful manifestation of love”, which treasures his legacy as a revolutionary ideal and part of Venezuelan history, culture and identity.
The message is accompanied by an audiovisual in which Commander Hugo Chávez (1954-2013) expressed that “Alí Primera, left us very young physically” and recognized him as a prophet of the song.
“Alí has stayed alive in us”, the Bolivarian leader assured, and affirmed that “he became a people that today sings, fights, loves and builds and creates a new homeland”.
He is the future, the Venezuelan youth, he is the people who has risen, who has awakened with their conscience. “Long live Alí Primera!”, he added.
