The head of the State Employment Department of the Provincial Directorship of Labor and Social Security, Osmani Espinosa, explained that the proposal is part of the second edition of the National Employment Fair, with the support of local authorities and mass organizations, Cuban News Agency detailed.
He assured that the initiative is aimed at bringing the offers closer to the communities, with special attention to those who are disconnected from study and work, in addition, training courses will be offered for those interested in training in an occupation.
Espinosa stated that the call includes all those people who wish to have multiple jobs or are looking for a different job option from the one they currently have.
Another purpose of the Fair is to legalize the labor ties of informal workers, guaranteeing them the benefits granted by the social security system and other rights endorsed in the Labor Code, he said.
During the first edition of the Fair, held last December, 496 people from the capital city obtained jobs, while 101 others enrolled in training courses.
