According to Prime Minister spokesman Bertalan Havasi, Orbán stated that relations with China will continue to develop with cooperation based on a long-standing friendship.
In a meeting with Chinese Public Security Minister Wang Xiaohong, who is visiting Budapest, he highlighted the excellent state of bilateral economic relations and the importance of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which is discussed every year at international forums in which Orbán regularly participates.
The two nations stressed the importance of security and stability, which are prerequisites for further economic development and the strengthening of trade relations, Havasi said, quoted by MTI news agency.
