The Spanish Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albares, will hold a first meeting with his counterpart next Sunday in Cordoba, in the south of the country, where Wang will also meet, next Monday, with King Felipe in the context of his working visit.
Official sources noted that the meeting between Albares and Wang will take place in the Alcazar of Cordoba, where after reviewing the state of bilateral ties, the two authorities will hold a press conference.
The head of Beijing’s diplomacy, who will arrive in Spain after attending the Security Conference in Munich, Germany, is the top-ranking member of the Chinese government to arrive in Spain since the state visit of President Xi Jinping in November 2018.
